here is a small version of the very first Christmas card that I painted for Maiden back in about 1980 I think.
it's actually the apartment I used to live in in North London. It's the same block of apartments that you can see on the Killers album, but this is the inside of it. that's my couch and my cat hiding behind it. His name was "Magus Matterguru, master of the universe." and he had a sister, she was called "Catblack the wizard's hat" but she isn't in the picture. They are both long dead now, but the picture remains. Have fun guys.

look here, someone sent me this old picture that I did of Eddie back in the early 1980's. it was for a promotion Maiden were doing in Cleveland U.S.A. I think the bird is a sports mascot that someone there was using (please forgive my ignorance Cleveland). I cleaned it up a bit and then I thought you might like to see it.

Hi it's Derek Riggs, Here's a thing.
I was talking to someone recently about the cover "Somewhere in Time" and I realized that I had this photo of the easel in my apartment in London when the painting was actually being painted. The original was 15 inches by 30 inches and it was painted in Acrylic paint on illustration board. So I thought I would put it out here for you all to see.
