Exakt darauf warte ich auch. Viele fragen sich, so unter anderem auch im IMFC-Forum, was diesen Wert von 400€ ausmacht. Nur die Stückzahl? Nur die Box aus Holz (sieht schon geil aus...), das Echtheitszertifikat? Hm.... ich tue mir weiterhin schwer damit, aber als Jäger und Sammler führte kein Weg an dem Teil vorbei.

wahrscheinlich nichts von alldem, die Nachfrage bestimmt den Preis!
Sie haben damit gerechnet, dass trotz hohem Preis die Fans die Box kaufen werden. Sie haben den Preis so hoch angesetzt weil sie die Box so verkaufen können

Geil sieht sie schon aus! Gratuliere jedem der sich die Box leidten konnte.
Aber der Preis ist einfach sehr resp. zu hoch. Hätte das Ding aber gerne in meiner Sammlung. Da ich nicht FC Mitgleid bin stellte sich bei mir die schwierige Frage gar nie, ob ich die Box kaufen soll oder nicht.

... ich lebe ja jetzt und heute. bin stolz auf meine kleine sammlung (ist wirklich klein, wie ich finde). was nach mir passiert... interessiert mich aktuell (noch) nicht. finde es nur lustig, dass meine 3 1/2-jährige tochter immer wieder zu mir kommt und sagt: papa, mach iron maiden an.

warten wir es ab, wie die preise sich entwickeln. für jeden unter uns "glücklichen" oder "unglücklichen" wird das ding einen speziellen wert haben.

Krass. Solche Auktionen sind eigentlich nicht erlaubt. Als Privatverkäufer darf man, afaik, kein Preorder anbieten. Bzw. keine Waren anbieten, welche man noch gar nicht physisch besitzt. Ist ein echt krasses Problem in den letzten Jahren geworden. Egal ob Musik oder Unterhaltungstechnik.

ja, und ernüchternd für den FC wieviele ihrer Mitglieder und "treuen" Fans offenbar nur Interesse hatten auf Kosten der richtigen Fans Kohle zu scheffeln. es gingen bei der Aktion ja einige Mitglieder leer aus, auch weil es solche gibt die sich das Teil nur gekauft haben um sich dann bereichern zu können

Update zur Box:

Greetings Troopers, a quick update on where things stand with the FC exclusive limited edition collectors box. As I’ve said on the FC forum over the weekend, huge thanks to everyone who’s written in to express how much they’re enjoying Senjutsu and indeed, the FC exclusive box - it means the world to both Iron Maiden and the team at Phantom who’ve been working on this all for quite some time now.

Secondly, on behalf of the whole team I just wanted to express our heartbreak and indeed, some horror at seeing a real labour of love turning up at some of your doors damaged, and we can only imagine how you feel too. We feel sick about it, as everyone at Phantom, Iron Maiden and indeed the FC wanted to do something great for you guys and we’re 100% committed to seeing that through, so please rest assured that…

1. We know there are some problems, thank you for letting us know.
2. We will fix all of these problems, so please bear with us while we get to the bottom of it.

Here’s where we’re at in the process.

Problem 1: box/contents damage

We’ve received some reports and images of damaged box sets - primarily on the corner or corners of the outer wooden box, and a few of the internal cardboard fittings, although this is not as widespread to our knowledge. We have also seen a few other miscellaneous issues.

Before these were posted the postal packaging was stress tested - literally throwing fully packed boxes at walls, dropping them etc - all the kind of wear and tear most posted items go through to get from us to you. In fact, this exact cardboard shipper has been used on other artists’ high-end box sets without issue.

These boxes were all quality control checked on arrival at the fulfilment house. We’re not yet certain which part of the manufacturing, packaging or posting process resulted in the damage - but if your wooden box or components arrived damaged they will be replaced free of charge - let the team know at support@musicglue.com and we’ll have more details on the timeline of that process soon. We became aware of this on Friday and ask for your patience whilst we work out the exact extent of the issues and put a one-time solution in place for you.

Problem 2: Roman numerals/certificates

Sometime Friday we started seeing some posts from people receiving certificates of authenticity with Roman numerals. We had 100 extra boxes made in the event that any went missing or needed to be replaced, and for Phantom office use, and as they were outside the 2,021 for public sale their certificates were done with Roman numerals. Somehow these were mixed in with the main shipment at the fulfilment house. Annoying for us, but if you got one of these rest assured that it is unique and you’ve got a rarity!

Problem 3: EU shipments have not yet dispatched

If you are in the EU your shipment has not been dispatched – as soon as we became aware of the issue we held them at the depot to open and inspect each one as part of our current fact-finding and to solve any issues at the source. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, and we’ll get them out to you just as soon as we’re happy they’re in the appropriate condition.
The bottom line is if you’re not happy then we’re not happy, and we appreciate everyone’s patience here. We wanted to produce a really special product for the FC and are genuinely devastated that this has happened. This is our top priority but want to get the solution right rather than just start manufacturing and sending out extra boxes straight away before we are certain of the root cause of the issue.

Sooo... die BOX wurde jetzt offiziell aus Dublin versendet. Soll mit FedEx am 13.09. voraussichtlich zugestellt werden. DAUMEN DRÜCKEN ist angesagt, dass das Ding unversehrt bei ALLEN ankommt und vielleicht jemand die RÖMISCHEN ZAHLEN im Zertifikat stehen hat.

Ja, in unserer Box wurde das schon getauscht. Ich hab die DELUXE ja mehrfach. Werde das Booklet aber nicht in allen tauschen. False packing. *lol*

Das wird schon. Meine Mail zum Versand kam auch 2h später... als bei nem Kollegen.
Sollte die BOX beschädigt sein --> Maiden soll man anschreiben, am besten direkt wohl ALEX vom IMFC, der regelt es dann. Denn für das geld hätte jeder Anspruch auf eine unbeschädigte Box.
