Aaaaargh, warum hat das nicht eher jemand gepostet?

Auf Maidencroatia.com gibt es ein wohl sehr aufwaendig und wertig gestaltetes Buch zu Somewhere in Time (und viele andere coole Buecher/Shirts):

Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, 265 Seiten nur ueber SIT, ich bin echt gespannt! Jedes Mal darin schmokern waehrend SIT rotiert

Seltsam, im Text steht es seien noch 3 verfügbar, beim Artikel steht es gäbe noch 85 Maiden 1986 Exemplare und direkt darunter steht, dass die 30th Anniversary Edition ausverkauft ist.

Ich habe jetzt jedenfalls ein Exemplar bestellt. Hoffentlich kommt das auch hier ein. Ein Buch über das beste Album aller Zeiten, da muss ich doch ausnahmsweise mal wieder Geld locker machen. Danke für den Tipp Tillmann.


EDIT: Also die 30th Anniversary Edition war schon ausverkauft. Ich bekomme jetzt sozusagen eine normale Version, den Unterschied habe ich noch nicht raus gefunden. Auf jeden Fall bin ich schon sehr gespannt!

Habe auch die 30th Anniversary Edition aber kann dir den Unterschied auch nicht nennen..

Ich lese gerade diese Nachricht und höre dabei gerade Somewhere In Time. Muss Schicksal sein.

Das muss ich mir demnächst holen; im Vergleich zu den anderen Alben kommt es mir vor, dass es von Somewhere In Time die wenigsten Infos gibt.

EBEN!! Deswegen habe ich auch nur GANZ KURZ nachgedacht

Hat schon einer sein Buch bekommen? Hält es was es verspricht?

Auslieferung wird wohl irgendwsnn im Mai sein.

Wie ist denn das SIT-Buch? Lohnt sich das?

Auf jeden Fall, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht, sehr gute Qualitaet usw., finde ich sehr unterstuetzenswert

Hier mal meine Kritik aus dem FC Forum:

What I like:
- The certificate is really cool!
- the collection of all the old interviews
- the descrition of the time of making the album and what has happened to it since
- the description of the role of Adrian
- the analysis of Caught somewhere in time and Sea of madness
- the analysis of the cover and the interview with Derek Riggs

What I don't like:
- When it arrived there were huge scratches on the front and the back, which has never happened with any ordered book before, so I don't think it is the postmen's fault, especially because this happened to others as well. Maybe you should ship it more safely next time.
- There are dozens of spelling mistakes, which got really annyoing after the 20th or so
- In general, there are lots of parts that don't sound nice or sentences like "I have mentioned before" and then there is a repition of something that has already been said... I think next time you should let a professional writer read your book at first, so things like these or the spelling mistakes don't happen.
- Wasted Years is always described so negatively, but I would say it is the most positive song Maiden have ever written. Also, Alexander the Great is not a lyrical flop. But of course, everyone has his own opinion about that.


I would rate it with 4 out of 5 stars. It definetly was an interesting book!!

Hat einer von euch das Buch schon durchgelesen und kann eine eigene Meinung zum Inhalt und Sprachlevel des Buches sagen?
