genau das selbe würde ich auch sagen.
wobei ich eher glaube das wenn ein blaze kommt das höchstens man on the edge oder Lord of the flies kommt. neuer song, waisting love, clasman, cross und co. ist zu anspruchsvoll um die zu üben für die herren für ne kleine Festival tour

...und viel zu anspruchsvoll für das RaR Publikum......

clansman ist zwar lang, aber nicht soooo anspruchsvoll und außerdem haben sie den schon mal gespielt (BNW-Tour). ok, das ist ein paar jahre her, aber den kriegen die doch hin. anders ist das mit cross: der ist nicht nur lang, sondern auch musikalisch kniffeliger.

Clansman haben sie glaub ich auch 2003 ausgepackt. Wäre wirklich cool, den mal live zu sehen. War neben Aces High und der ganzen Somewhere in Time immer der Song, den ich am liebsten mal hören würde.

MAIDEN SUMMER 2014 TOUR HEADLINE DATE AT SONISPHERE, KNEBWORTH

IRON MAIDEN will return to Europe in Summer 2014 starting in late May with a short run of major festivals and a few select arena shows to round off their Maiden England World Tour which ends with a headline performance at the UK Sonisphere Festival in July as part of the 40th Anniversary celebrations at Knebworth Park. By the end of the tour the band will have played 102 shows in 32 countries to well over two million fans since starting in the USA in June 2012.

The 2014 Tour will include dates in countries not visited during the 2013 leg and will be a much shorter run than is usual for a Maiden tour. Manager Rod Smallwood explains,

“The Maiden England 2013 Tour was incredibly well received everywhere and there is much demand from fans to see more and for the band to visit some places in Europe we couldn’t make it to this year so we thought we should play a few more shows. However this will be a relatively short tour in Maiden terms, starting towards the end of May and finishing at Sonisphere, Knebworth in early July. During 2014 we have something new we need to start thinking about, and on which we will be wholly and firmly focused going into 2015 and beyond!

As all our fans know, Maiden England is Part 3 in the History Trilogy of the 1980s video/DVD releases so this is likely to be the last time we will tour with a set list based on the ‘80s, and therefore the last time fans will EVER hear some of these songs played live. With this in mind, for the 2014 dates we plan to change the set list around a little, to make it more equally representative of the whole of the ‘80s period covered by those three DVDs – Early Days, Live After Death and of course Maiden England, along with one notable exception from the 90’s, the fans will know which song I’m talking about!

Jetzt können wir uns streiten, welche 2 oder 3 "großen Überraschungen" das 80er Set komplettieren werden...

Wenn das generelle Thema nächstes Jahr die 80er Periode von Maiden wird, dann wird sicher viel von Seventh Son rausfliegen (haben Sie jetzt ja 2 Jahre gespielt). Sollte das der Fall sein wäre doch die Chance relativ gross, dass ein bestimmtes Lied gespielt wird das 13 min dauert und Albatrosse beinhaltet...

Ne, also das halte ich für ganz ausgeschlossen. Das ist ne kurze Festivaltour, da holen sie niemals wieder sonen aufwändigen 13 Minuten-Epos raus. Aces High und 2 Minutes to Midnight werden es wohl werden.

Ich tippe das Moonchild bleibt oder das Moonchild mit Aces High tauscht. Ansonsten wird denke ich mal 7th Son raus fliegen und Afraid to Shoot stranges und dafür kommen dann HBTN, Heavan can Wait und Still Life rein

Hey Folks...

Ne Maiden England Tour ohne Seventh Son zu spielen is ja eig. unmöglich... , im Tausch mit Rime, wäre es ok, von mir aus können se auch beide Zocken, die solln sich mal nich ins Hemd machen wg der Länge....

Ich tippe da eher das Afraid und Prisoner rausfliegen und dafür Hallowed und Bring your Daughter reinkommen...
Evtl. noch eine Änderung das wars dann...

Vill. kommen se ja nochmal mit Hallenshows zu uns... da wäre ich am Start(ausser Frankfurt)....

Ich weiß, sehr unrealistisch. Aber bitte nicht wieder Heaven Can Wait oder Madness anstatt der echten Perlen von SIT und 7th Son. Ich denke, Trooper, Beast, Hills, 2 Minutes, Hallowed, Fear, Iron Maiden sind eh gesetzt.
Potenziell mit Chancen und auch gespielt in den letzten 10 Jahren wären evtl. Phantom, Remeber Tomorrow(obwohl sich dass auf der Early Days Tour nach dem letzten Mal angehört hat), Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, Die With your Boots on, Sanctuary, Running Free, Aces High, Clairvoyant, Evil That Men Do. Aber an richtig fette Überraschungen glaube ich nicht.

Die könnte schon sehr realistisch sein, Quebec, obwohl ich nicht an Murders glaube und auch denke, dass Prisoner rausfliegt...

Sehe ich auch so, die Setlist von Quebec sieht schon ziemlich möglich aus. Einzig anstelle von Murders würde ich eher auf Phantom oder Die With Your Boots on tippen.

Wrathchild oder Killers anstelle von Murders ware auch denkbar... so ware wenigstens jedes Album der Achtziger mit einem Lied vertreten...
